CryProV2 Adapter

Purpose-built hardware designed specifically for legacy Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep communication buses.

Hardware and Application

Standard ELM327 dongles cannot communicate with all legacy Chrysler networks. The DRB Pro Emulator requires the custom-built CryProV2 hardware interface to achieve factory-level speeds and module programming.

Hardware Specs

  • Connectivity: Dual mode USB serial and wireless Bluetooth LE 5.0.
  • Supported Buses: SAE J1567 (CCD), SAE J1850 VPW (PCI), and SAE J2610 (SCI).
  • Flash Voltages: Built-in step-up converters can generate the 12V Bootstrap and 20V Programming voltages required to flash supported controllers.
  • Logic Switching: Hardware-level Normal/Inverted logic switching for OBD1/OBD2 SCI variants.

The hardware is built around an ESP32-PICO architecture and supports seamless Over-The-Air (OTA) firmware updates directly through the Android app.
